Taco Joe began his tattooing journey in 2007 in Borneo, learning the craft from the ground up through pure DIY necessity alongside his mentor, Jim Losaria. After spending a decade running his shop, Wayang Kulit Tatu, in Kuala Lumpur and guesting across Europe, Joe joined The Blue Blood Studios as a resident artist. His work blends the raw energy of 90s skateboard graphics and punk aesthetics with classic traditional weight, Japanese motifs, and subtle structural flow rooted in his Borneo heritage.

Built on single-pass precision, heavy line weights, and dense, high-contrast color packing, his pieces are designed from the ground up for maximum visual impact and lifetime longevity.
